Such a fun session! Best of Dallas : The Fort Worth Stock Yards

Exploring DFW has been a blast so far, but when we woke up the morning of the Fort Worth Stock Yards Session, we knew it was going to be a good day. With a temperature already in the triple digits, our team geared up for what should have been a scorching North Texas day. But when we rolled up to the famous Fort Worth Stock Yards, there was a gentle breeze flowing through the shops, and although it smelled

Such a fun session! The Best of Dallas: Bishop Arts

The Bishop Arts District is known for its close-knit small town neighborhood feel and is the home to many independent restaurants, coffee bars and boutiques. The artsy district is located in north Oak Cliff, Dallas, and just southwest of Downtown Dallas. We had senior model reps Angela, Hailey, Erin, and Isabel meet us for a fun evening of exploring and senior photos. Yes please!

We met around the intersection...

What a crazy time! We're Just MAD About Our Seniors

The idea of a post-apocalyptic world is not a new one. There are countless movies that are set in this fantastical setting (Mad Max, The Hunger Games, Maze Runner, etc.) and countless authors that have spurred the need to see what our future could look like should there be a nuclear war or some landscape changing natural disaster. We decided it was high-time that we dip our hand in the preverbal pool – and put our own twist on this same idea...

Such a fun session! Smart, Sassy, and Stunning Senior Pictures

You know it’s going to be a good shoot when your model walks in with her fashionable outfits pre-planned, jewelry hanging neatly from the hangers, and shoes that match each ensemble to perfection.

This isn’t senior model rep, Melissa Castillo’s, first shoot with us though. As part of our program, Melissa has been in at least three other sessions, including our slumber party session as well as our vintage ice cream parlor session earlier this year! We’ve also had a blast at her best friend session with her brother Damien

Such a fun session! Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice - That's What Seniors Are Made Of

To be a 2017 senior, you need to know 2 things:

One: Fall is everything

And Two: You can’t have fall without friends and pumpkin spice.

Although the fall in North Dallas is just Summer 2.0 – we Texans still love the idea of wearing warm colors, flannel, and the smell of a good cup of coffee. There are plenty of people here who will don wool socks and jackets even as sweat drips down their faces. Senior Model Reps Haylee Hogan, Tyler Crew, Taylor Curbow, and Gabby Klosterman are these people (minus the sweat that is!) and we barely had to convince

So beautiful! Stunning Senior Summer Photo Shoot

With the start of the school year and football season, it’s no wonder that our busy 2017 seniors want to have their senior photo sessions as soon as possible! Most people like to ask us what the best time of year for senior pictures to be done is and our answer almost every time is the summer and fall for Texas seniors. As every Texan knows, it’s hot in July and August. But that shouldn’t deter you from having your photos done! Summer is a wonderful time for senior pictures, as senior model rep, Tyler Crew, can tell you!

We began her session at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, and after a good hike, itchy grass, and splashing through...

So beautiful! Our Favorite Kind of Lights Are Friday Night Lights

To say that high school football in Texas is a big deal, is a BIG understatement! With fun TV shows like Friday Night Lights – a show actually based in a small Texas town – and the excitement that invades the entire school on game days, it’s no wonder that this all American game can spark such a passion for competition.

And let us tell you – there is A LOT of competition. As our team gathered on the beautiful turf field of the University of North Texas'; newest football shrine, Apogee Stadium, our senior model rep team was already debating the scores, plays, and teams of last year’s Frisco high school football season. As most know, Lone Star High School made it all the way to the state championships last season and had a...

Love this shot of the models with the juke box! A Classic Kind of Summer

The 1950’s was full of swing dancing, drive-in movies, and fun outings with friends to local hotspots like the cinema and the ice cream parlor! Inspired by this wonderful time, we gathered up senior model reps Kailyn Gauff, Melissa Castillo, and Alana Wilkinson for a 1950s themed session at our favorite ice cream parlor, Beth Marie's, in Denton, Texas.

For a brother and sister, the Castillo siblings are one of a kind. With a bond like theirs it’s no wonder to our team that they are best friends!

We met the Castillo family at the Shops at Legacy on a bright afternoon earlier this spring. It was gorgeous out, so there were a few people walking around the beautiful pond and talking about their plans for the quickly approaching summer.

Melissa, the older of the two, is one of our amazing senior model reps and has already been with us for the Slumber Party session, and is going to be in our...

Rachel looks killer in this close up! The Christmas Blues Can't Get These Two Seniors

The bells are jingling, kids are caroling, trees are sparkling, and couples are attempting to ice skate without breaking an ankle. That’s right: it’s Christmas time in Texas.

When Rachel and Maddie met our team at Frisco Square it was mildly cold at 60 degrees. As most Dallas Texans are aware, the weather has its own mind and will and the weather men can only guess at what the temperature will be on a day to day basis. We chatted with the lovely two Senior Model Reps, Maddie Snowden, a senior at Heritage High School, and Liberty...

Brooke fights off a Zombie! HELP! We're Under Attack By Zombies

It seemed unreal. Who could have thought that it would actually happen? People who died, were supposed to stay dead. Right? Luckily for us senior model rep, Brooke Harden, jokingly brought a shovel along with her for her senior portrait session after the morning news warned that there was an outbreak of a virus that causes insanity. "People tell me that all of the time! I think it’s the dark hair.” Senior Model Rep, Samantha Bradley, just laughed when our team told her she reminded them of the Disney princess, Snow White. Markee looks gorgeous in this photo. Senior Torn Between Canada and the US

Ok, we’re exaggerating. Heritage High School Senior Markee Williamson has lived in the US for over seven years, so she’s obviously happy living here. Although, she did tell us while we explored Downtown Prosper that she missed poutine, a Canadian delicacy that includes french fries and a large amount of gravy. Our team thinks that we would miss that too.

Markee first reached out to us over the summer, and told us how excited she was to be a senior and how pumped she was to have her senior photos with us! So it was no surprise that we were equally as excited when we were able to have her session soon after school started. With the year slowly moving toward the holidays, and the days begin to shorten, our team was a little nervous we would run out of light before heading out to Downtown Prosper. Luckily for us, we were right on schedule and Markee got some amazing photos of the sunset with her cute red Mini Cooper.

She stops traffic with one look! Talented Senior Stops Traffic

Most high school kids these days are busier than a hive of bees. If they’re not on the field, then they’re in a study hall. If they’re not in study hall then they’re at work or running to a club meeting or a student council. It’s very obvious that today’s generation is doing their best to excel and to stand out among the crowd. But why? One word: scholarships.

And the talented Senior Model Rep Jocelynn Livingston has proven herself worthy of one. Not surprisingly, it can be very difficult...

A perfect sunset for a gorgeous Senior Model Rep! When Props Attack

All smiles, Carly brought her armful of clothes into our studio, ready to begin her senior shoot. You most definitely recognize this gorgeous Senior Model Rep from her previous shoots with us (Rock n’ Roll, Hipster, and her best friend shoot with Kyra) and we couldn’t be happier to have her back in our studio!

The second eldest of five, Carly is extremely impressive as a leader and scored an officer position on her dance team at Heritage High School. As we walked around Downtown McKinney, Carly told us that she’s been looking forward to her senior year and the fun events like Homecoming and Prom!

Unfortunately, just because there was a gorgeous blue sky and a beautiful model doesn’t mean that we were without our moment of terror. Carly’s mom, Tina, had brought a really neat vintage chair and told our team she wanted a few photos of Carly in it in the middle of a field. We got the chair set up, and after some great sitting poses, Tyler asked Carly to sit on the back of it. Little did we know that the chair was already top-heavy. As soon as...

Did you know High school high stepping was created back in 1929 in Greenville, Texas, by Ms. Gussie Nell Davis – the founder of the prestigious Rangerettes? We learned that the original purpose behind creating the dance and drill teams was to give girls who could not tumble like the cheerleaders a chance to participate in football games, but when Miss Davis was contacted by the President of Kilgore College, she was given the challenge to create a group that would “be interesting and keep the folks in their seats at half-time...
